Job summary

Isle of Anglesey County Council is seeking a Trading Standards Enforcement Officer (in Training) to join our team in Anglesey. The role focuses on enforcing comprehensive Trading Standards and Licensing legislation, contributing to departmental objectives and service delivery for local businesses and residents.

The post starts at grade 3 on a training path with potential progression to permanent grade 5, subject to the completion of relevant qualifications.

Qualifications

• Experience in enforcing consumer protection, weights and measures, or licensing is desirable.
• Strong communication and advisory skills with the public and businesses.
• Ability to work under guidance and progress to a permanent role subject to qualifications.

This is a grade 3 temporary post initially however will become a permanent grade 5 post subject to the completion of the relevant qualifications.
