Job summary

Ealing Council invites applications for a Trading Standards Apprentice. The role is a fixed-term contract for 3 years (or secondment for existing staff) with a salary of £33,609–£37,794 per annum.

You will undertake the CSA Trading Standards Level 6 apprenticeship while working with experienced officers to gain enforcement experience across product safety, food, weights and measures, and tobacco compliance. Right to work in the UK is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with routine inspections and advising businesses.
• Support underage test purchases and investigations.
• Contribute to criminal investigations and witness statements.
• Progress through the training programme and develop enforcement competencies.
