Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths at Level 1 or above.
• Five GCSEs at grade C/4 or above.
• A-levels or equivalent qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Support investigations and management of a reactive caseload in trading standards.
• Conduct inspections, investigate complaints and assist with enforcement actions.
• Collect evidence, draft formal notices and prepare case files for potential legal proceedings.
• Attend court as a witness when necessary.
• Undertake test purchases, take samples and assist with testing of goods to monitor compliance.
• Provide clear, practical consumer and business advice on rights and obligations under consumer protection laws.
