Job summary

Wintermute, a leading crypto-native trading firm, is seeking a Team Lead to own architecture decisions and drive engineering culture within the Product team. You will shape how we build and scale client-facing and internal trading platforms, leading a hands-on, high-impact engineering team.

You will guide technical strategy, mentor engineers, and establish processes to ship with confidence. Join us in London to influence the future of high-throughput, low-latency trading systems.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience with at least 3 years in a technical leadership role.
• Proven track record of architecture decisions for data-intensive, low-latency systems.
• Experience building real-time dashboards, streaming analytics, and large-scale data pipelines.
• Strong frontend + backend across TypeScript/React/Node.js and Python/Go.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the technical architecture for Wintermute’s trading products and internal apps.
• Lead and mentor a full-stack engineering team, setting standards for code quality and reviews.
• Drive technical strategy and roadmap in collaboration with Product leadership.
• Architect systems handling high data volumes, real-time streaming, and low latency.
• Oversee frontend experiences across onboarding portals and trading dashboards.
