Selby Jennings is hiring a software engineer to design and enhance trading platforms. The role covers front-end work with React and TypeScript as well as backend services in Java, supporting order routing and execution workflows across a global platform.

You will collaborate with quantitative research, execution and trading teams to deliver new functionality and scale the platform across regions. A strong emphasis on AI-assisted development and code quality is expected.

Formación

• 4-6 years of software engineering experience.
• Commercial experience with React and TypeScript.
• Experience building backend services in Java.
• Strong object-oriented programming fundamentals.
• Experience with electronic trading, execution systems, market making or broker algorithms.
• Exposure to AI-assisted software development tools.

Responsabilidades

• Build and enhance front-end trading and workflow applications using React, TypeScript and Java.
• Develop and maintain backend services supporting order routing, execution workflows and trading infrastructure.
• Partner with quantitative research and trading teams to deliver new functionality and platform enhancements.
• Scale a global execution platform across multiple regions and asset classes.
• Integrate the platform with external counterparties, brokers and internal systems.
• Leverage AI development tools to accelerate development, testing and code quality.
• Contribute to a collaborative engineering culture focused on innovation and continuous improvement.
