Janus Henderson Investors is seeking a Software Engineer to join our UK-based tech team. You will deliver features end-to-end, including C# service code, Angular UI when needed, and infrastructure work via Terraform and CI/CD pipelines.

You’ll build integrations with trading platforms (Charles River, Aladdin, Bloomberg) through REST APIs and batch feeds, while following an established ports-and-adapters structure.

Qualifications

• Around 2–6 years of commercial software engineering with strong C# and .NET experience.
• Solid ASP.NET Core: DI, configuration, middleware, authentication, async/await.
• Competent SQL: write and tune queries and reason about data models.
• Genuine testing discipline: unit testing and mocking as a normal part of writing code.
• Practical Git and CI/CD experience; branching, PRs and automated pipelines.
• Working knowledge of Azure cloud.

Responsabilités

• Deliver features and fixes end to end: C# service code, Angular UI where relevant, Terraform, pipeline configuration and deployment to production.
• Build and maintain integrations with vendor trading platforms (Charles River, Aladdin, Bloomberg) via REST APIs and batch feeds.
• Contribute to a ports-and-adapters architecture, keeping domain logic separate from infrastructure.
• Write tests to meet coverage gates and treat issues as defects.
• Maintain Snowflake and SQL Server migration scripts following versioned conventions.
