As a Trading Operations Specialist, you’ll support trading desks based in London. This role offers the opportunity to solve challenging problems while working closely with traders, researchers, and engineers to optimize workflows and leverage the right tools and technology.

Responsibilities

1. Act as process owner for current functionality and support/enhance technology, workflows, and processes:
   • Understand traders’ risk management tools and support their needs
   • Upgrade and support traders’ tools to utilize firm-standard technologies
   • Collaborate with technology teams to improve tools
   • Adopt and promote new technology as it becomes available
   • Master proprietary systems supporting futures/futures options, including trade capture, inventory, treasury, and risk management
   • Trade and position reconciliation with clearing houses, counterparties, and brokers
   • Calculate and substantiate daily P&L
   • Support the firm’s FX Options desk operationally
   • Support Direct Trading activities

Requirements

1. Interest or experience in FX markets
2. At least 2 years in front/middle/back office or risk management roles with exchange-traded and OTC derivatives
3. Proficiency in Python, Git, Linux, SQL
4. Experience with futures, options, or OTC products preferred
5. Interaction with front office and senior management in a trading environment
6. Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field or equivalent experience
7. Ability to work independently and analyze problems effectively
