Job summary

Morrisons is looking for Trading Managers to ensure shelves are stocked and promotions run smoothly. You will report to the Store Manager, lead a team, manage shift rosters, and drive product availability while maintaining safety and store standards.

You will deliver customer-focused service, plan promotions, and support store departments to meet sales targets. This role offers development opportunities within Morrisons' Leadership School and a clear path to store leadership.

Qualifications

• Experience leading and supporting a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Willing to step up as Manager in Charge when required.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Focus on safety, stock availability and standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead your team to deliver outstanding shopping experiences, plan promotions, and act on customer feedback to keep standards high.
• Manage shift rotas, attendance, and talent development, delivering training so colleagues can work flexibly across departments.
• Lead a performance-driven department, guiding colleagues to work with purpose against operational and sales targets.
• Plan resources thoroughly, manage daily team routines, and build strong working relationships with other store departments.
