Our Trading Managers play an essential role in delivering customer experience across our stores by driving sales, promoting customer loyalty, maintaining high trading standards, and smashing commercial targets, all while working alongside the general manager.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee department operations, maximize profitable sales and growth, and create a customer-focused environment.
  • Lead in creating a great workplace for all team members.
  • Inspire your team to deliver the best customer experience by creating a memorable customer journey.
  • Collaborate closely with central support teams to ensure effective communication, stock supply, and response.
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations across all departments, prioritizing team and customer welfare.
  • Utilize your retail management expertise to capitalize on sales opportunities.
  • Prepare the store for trading by completing all opening/closing procedures and daily checks.
  • Perform duty manager responsibilities, including key holder duties, as part of the management team.

  • Experience in retail operations management with strong sales expertise.
  • Commercial awareness, including understanding budgets and profitability through retail sales and process improvements.
  • Ability to identify training needs and effectively coach and train staff at all levels to ensure excellent customer service and safety.
  • Adaptability to respond quickly and positively to changing priorities and new regulations.
  • Leadership in managing change with positivity, motivating the team through each season.
