Job summary

DV Commodities is seeking a Trading Intern in London to work closely with our teams and learn various trading strategies, from Market Making in Oil Products to Fundamental Discretionary approaches in European Gas & Power. You will rotate on at least two desks, build analytics dashboards, and back-test ideas under mentor guidance.

Strong candidates are pursuing a degree in a relevant field, with proficiency in Python and Excel, and are eager to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree and graduating by Summer 2027 or Summer 2028.
• Strong interest in trading and model development.
• High level of proficiency with Python and Excel.
• Strong work ethic and ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced setting.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Rotate on at least 2 trading desks to explore different strategies.
• Build and maintain applications that assist trading activities (analytics dashboards, etc.).
• Back-test and present novel ideas to traders and leadership.
• Receive mentorship from senior and junior traders and gain exposure to leadership.
