Qualifications

• 0-2+ years of experience in trading, operations, or a data-focused role.
• Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Finance, Accounting or Data Science.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to debug issues across data, systems, and workflows.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Hands-on experience using Python and/or SQL to work with and analyze data.
• Interest in trading and energy markets.
• Ability to stay organized in a fast-paced, real-time environment.
• Strong communication skills interacting with traders and stakeholders.
• Experience with automating workflows.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary support for the trading desks, handling ad-hoc queries from traders and stakeholders
• Perform daily PnL reconciliation and reporting, investigating and resolving discrepancies
• Monitor pricing and risk, identifying and escalating issues where necessary
• Serve as the first point of contact for operational and trade-related issues
• Investigate breaks across internal systems, brokers, and exchanges, coordinating with relevant teams to resolve them
• Contribute to process improvements and controls to reduce manual work and operational risk
• Work on data-driven projects to improve reporting, transparency, and operational efficiency
