Job summary

DV Trading is seeking a Junior Trading Operations Analyst to join the DV Commodities team in London. This middle-office role supports the day-to-day running of trading desks, monitoring activity, resolving issues in real time, and improving processes and tools to drive performance.

The ideal candidate has 0–2+ years of experience in trading/operations or a data-focused role, a relevant STEM/finance degree, and hands-on Python and SQL skills.

Qualifications

• 0–2+ years in trading, operations, or a data-focused role.
• Hands-on Python and SQL for data analysis.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to debug data/workflow issues.
• Interest in trading and energy markets.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary support for the trading desks and handle ad-hoc queries from traders.
• Perform daily PnL reconciliation and reporting, investigate discrepancies.
• Monitor pricing and risk, escalate issues as needed.
• Serve as the first point of contact for operational and trade-related issues.
