Job summary

Talan Group is recruiting an IT Application Support Analyst to join the London-based CIT Business Support Team, dedicated to the Commodities-Indexed Transactions Group (CIT). The role is on-site five days a week in London.

You will support the in-house platform across pricing, risk management, market data sharing, P&L reporting, settlements, and regulatory reporting. Strong problem-solving and communication skills are essential, with SQL, Python or PowerShell experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Experience in front-to-back production support.
• Knowledge of commodities or pricing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Proactively monitor the in-house commodities platform.
• Configure and maintain system settings.
• Analyze and resolve production issues.
• Field questions from traders, marketers, risk managers and operations.
• Advise the core development team on fixes and enhancements.
• Participate in the first-line support rota and on-call coverage.
• Oversee release management tasks.
