Job description

The role: The successful candidate will support the Trading Leads with day-to-day reporting, supplying data as required, and work with Trading Leads to create ongoing Agency Reports. The Trading Executive will also assist team members on bespoke projects.

Day-to-day responsibilities:

1. Conduct analysis to contribute towards monthly reports for all Agency Groups, e.g., Group M, Publicis, and Omnicom.
2. Contribute to reports managing CPS compliance for all News UK client contracts.
3. Assist with ad hoc analysis required by the Trading Team for negotiations.
4. Help create monthly reports for various News UK teams.
5. Reconcile and compile data with external auditors.
6. Compile Monthly Circulation reports.
7. Conduct detailed revenue estimates to aid in provisioning and forecasting.
8. Participate in meetings to reconcile contract delivery differences.
9. Review market trends and analysis to support News UK’s propositions.
10. Apply industry knowledge and trading mechanics to understand challenges and opportunities.

What we are looking for:

• Experience using Excel for data analysis and manipulation.
• Understanding of media channels such as Print, Digital, Out of Home, Radio & Cinema, and their interrelations from a deal perspective.
• Experience presenting data to stakeholders using tools like Tableau.
• Ability to interpret and analyze audience measurement trends for UK newsbrands.
• Research skills to identify revenue-generating propositions and provide recommendations.
