JD Sports Fashion PLC in Bury Head Office is seeking a Trading Assistant Merchandiser to support the Merchandising team and optimise trade performance. You will help maximise sales and profit while developing your career in merchandising within a dedicated team.

Current responsibilities include analysing weekly trade, planning actions for top and critical stores, and assisting with event planning and store performance reviews. A strong numerical and proactive mindset is essential.

Competenze

Experience within a similar role is advantageous.
Experience within a sports/fashion retailer is advantageous.
Highly numerate with strong commercial focus.
Computer literate and able to learn new systems.
Highly organised with good prioritisation and time management.
Self-motivated and proactive.
Curious with a continuous learning mindset.

Mansioni

Review weekly trade performance and extract key messages for the Merchandiser.
Identify focus areas and compile action plans for top stores, new/rehab stores, and under/over performing outlets.
Support event planning and ensure store attributes align with performance expectations.
Compile and analyse market lessons from major trading events.
Analyse past performance at store/product level and communicate messages to the Merchandiser.
Attend store visits and contribute to action plans to improve sales performance.
