Job summary

JD Sports Fashion PLC is seeking a Junior Merchandiser to support the merchandising team at the JD Group Head Office in Bury. You will help deliver sales, markdown, stock and profit plans across channels, while working with Buyers and Senior Merchandiser on the category strategy.

Qualifications

• Experience in a sports/fashion retailer is advantageous.
• Highly numerate with strong commercial focus.
• Experience within a similar role is essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead merchandising activities to deliver sales, markdown, stock and profit plans.
• Collaborate with buyers and senior merchandiser on range and space planning.
• Analyse weekly sales and stock data to inform actions.
• Visit stores to optimise performance and communicate findings to retail teams.
