Job summary

Schonfeld seeks a Trading Assistant to join the DMFI team. You will work closely with Portfolio Managers, support trade bookings, data analysis and reporting, and collaborate with Operations on bookings and risk reporting.

You will contribute to automation initiatives, ensuring accuracy across trade life-cycle processes, and liaising with multiple internal teams to align on P&L modeling and risk reporting in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience supporting Portfolio Managers or Trading.
• Knowledge of operational risk and trade life cycle events as it impacts P&L.
• Strong understanding of financial markets and various Fixed Income and FX products, including futures, forwards, swaps and options.
• Python programming skills for data analysis, automation, and tool support.

Responsibilities

• Support PMs on trade bookings and blotter management.
• Handle trade recaps and ensure accuracy across the life cycle and systems.
• Oversee position management and P&L inquiries in PMS and trader systems.
• Manage FX & Future rolls, expiries, cash balances, and events.
