Job summary

Asda is seeking a Trading Assistant - Food at Asda House, Leeds. You will support the Trader in all areas, including sales tracking and analysis, with a focus on accuracy and timely administration.

The role offers a hybrid working pattern with a minimum of 3 days in the office, a 37.5-hour week, and a benefits package including a discretionary bonus, pension, and staff discounts.

Responsibilities

• Support the Trader in all areas, including sales tracking and analysis.
• Keep admin up to date, including line listing, cost and retail changes, and liaise with suppliers to ensure deadlines and tasks are met.
• Input into decisions on ranges and promotions and answer and resolve store/supplier queries.
• Raise and reconcile internal and external invoices and assist the Trader with competitor research and day-to-day trading of your category.

It's important that you keep the admin up to date, including line listing, cost and retail changes and liaise with suppliers to ensure that they keep to deadlines and tasks. You will input into decisions on ranges and promotions and answer and resolve store/supplier queries. Other important tasks include raising and reconciling of internal and external invoices to the category and assisting the Trader with competitor research and the day to day trading of your category.
