Job summary

Trade Assist in Canterbury is seeking a motivated Trades Labourer with no experience required. You will support tradespeople, move materials, and keep sites clean and safe. On-the-job training is provided to help you develop practical skills across varying projects.

Reliable transport and good communication are important as you will work with a team on multiple job sites. A clean drug/alcohol test is required before starting work, and full PPE is supplied to keep you safe.

Qualifications

• No prior construction experience required.
• On-the-job training provided.
• Site Safe certification is a bonus but not required.
• Must be able to pass clean drug and alcohol test before starting work.

Responsibilities

• Assist tradespeople and support general labour duties.
• Move and handle materials, including heavy lifting.
• Keep work areas clean, organised and safe.
• Follow site instructions and health & safety requirements.
• Work as part of a team to get the job done.

Trades Labourer - No Experience Required!

What you'll be doing:

• Assisting tradespeople and supporting general labour duties.
• Moving and handling materials, including heavy lifting
• Keeping work areas clean, organised and safe
• Following site instructions and health & safety requirements
• Working as part of a team to get the job done

• $25-$26 per hour, depending on experience
