At Trade Assist we are currently working with several clients across the food manufacturing industry who are looking for reliable Production Assistants to join their teams.

Whether you have previous manufacturing experience or you're looking to get your foot in the door, we'd love to hear from you. Entry-level candidates are welcome, with training provided where required.

We have a range of short and long-term opportunities, making these roles particularly suitable for people on Working Holiday Visas as well as candidates looking for a pathway into ongoing or permanent employment. About the Role Working in a busy factory environment, your duties may include:

You will ideally have:

• Previous experience in manufacturing, production or machine operation — an advantage, but not essential


• Entry-level candidates with the right attitude are encouraged to apply


• Ability to work on your feet for 8+ hours


• Physically fit and comfortable with repetitive lifting of 20–25kg


• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic


• Ability to work well as part of a team


• Own reliable transport


• Strong mechanical aptitude and practical problem-solving skills
