Job Description

Join an established commodities trading firm and be in control of improving various processes across the trading operations.

You will work closely with trading teams and support functions, interacting with the business to understand what works and what doesn’t, aiming to make processes as efficient as possible. Your primary responsibilities will include process improvement and supporting various operational changes.

The primary products traded include oil, power, and natural gas. You will join as a senior team member with significant opportunities for future progression into management roles. As part of enhancing the operations platform and processes, you will become the key person for resolving issues and implementing further changes.

Many systems are automated and operate in real-time. The team is technically skilled, utilizing VBA, SQL, and Python for automation. You will have the autonomy to make decisions on automating and optimizing processes.

Regarding experience, an in-depth understanding of exchange clearing is required, preferably with experience at a clearing house handling ETD.

You will join a successful firm with a strong track record in the commodities trading market. The starting salary is up to £75,000, complemented by benefits such as private medical and dental insurance, life insurance, and more. The role offers a hybrid work environment, with up to two days working from home per week.
