About the Role

As a Trade Finance Officer, your role entails meticulously reviewing and processing a variety of Trade Finance documents, including Import LCs, export L/C notifications, and DC documents. Additionally, you’ll handle tasks related to Participations, Financing agreements, and other financial instruments. Ensuring compliance with AML procedures, you’ll also manage accounting entries and update electronic records, contributing to the smooth operation of trade finance activities.

Responsibilities

  • Execute Import/Export LCs issuance, amendment, documents processing, settlements, Maintain proper filing for all types of transactions.
  • Execute financing, loans, discounts, and participations.
  • Execute letters of guarantee, standby L/Cs and Inward/Outward Documentary Collections.
  • Execute all Incoming and Outgoing transfers.
  • Execute and renew/rollover deposits.

Qualifications

University degree in Bachelor of Science in Business Administration / Banking and Finance.

  • Ability to properly apply general knowledge related to Banking Operations
  • Ability to understand and comply with the legal and regulatory requirements related to his/ her daily operations
  • Ability to properly handle and manage files & related correspondence (TFFT)
  • Ability to involve other team members, coordinate work, give & receive feedback positively (Teamwork)
  • Ability to collect relevant information in order to resolve issues or carry out tasks in his/her own area of responsibility (Gathering and Analysing Information).
  • Ability to communicate, listen, interpret, comprehend communication from others & respond appropriately (Communication Skills)
