Job summary

Rexel UK Dunfermline branch is seeking an Internal Sales person to be the face of the branch, delivering excellent customer service to trade customers and the public while managing shop displays.

In this role you will handle quotations, process orders, manage stock, make sales calls with the external team, and support the branch's promotions and customer relationships.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills and confidence in dealing with customers and colleagues.
• Good organisational skills, ability to work to deadlines and manage workload.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent service to customers over the phone and face-to-face at the Trade Counter.
• Handle stock in and out, including order processing, picking and packing, store transfers, and stock control.
• Serve customers efficiently and professionally at the Trade Counter.
• Make sales calls to a portfolio of existing and new customers, working with the external sales team.
• Raise quotations, follow up on quotations, and process customer orders.
• Assist with goods in/out, loading/unloading delivery vans, and picking/packing orders.
• Continuously enhance product knowledge and stay updated on new products entering the market.

Job Description

You will be the face of our wholesale branch, providing excellent customer service on the Trade Counter to trade professionals and members of the public. You will also take ownership of shop displays to highlight promotions and store offers.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Customer Service:Provide excellent service to customers over the phone and face-to-face.

• Sales Administration:Raise quotations, follow up on quotations, and process customer orders.
• Warehouse Duties:Assist with goods in/out, loading/unloading delivery vans, and picking/packing orders, which may involve some heavy lifting.
• Product Knowledge:Continuously enhance your knowledge by learning about new products entering the market.
