Job summary

Rexel UK Fort William Branch is seeking an Internal Sales person to join the team. You will be the face of the wholesale branch, delivering outstanding customer service to trade professionals and public customers, while handling stock, promotions, and store displays.

You will also perform internal sales activities, make calls to customers, raise quotations, and process orders. The role includes some warehouse duties and heavy lifting, with opportunities for development and progression.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills and customer focus.
• Ability to manage stock, quotations, and orders.
• Experience in a trade counter/sales environment is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service over the phone and in person.
• Handle stock in/out, order processing, picking/packing, and stock control.
• Serve customers efficiently at the trade counter.
• Make sales calls to existing and new customers in collaboration with external sales.
• Raise quotations and follow up on quotations; process orders.
• Assist with goods in/out and loading/unloading deliveries; some heavy lifting.
• Continuously learn product knowledge to stay up to date.

Job Description

You will be the face of our wholesale branch, providing excellent customer service on the Trade Counter to trade professionals and members of the public. You will also take ownership of shop displays to highlight promotions and store offers.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Customer Service:Provide excellent service to customers over the phone and face-to-face.
• Stock Management:Handle stock in and out, including order processing, picking and packing, store transfers, and stock control.
• Trade Counter:Serve customers efficiently and professionally.
• Internal Sales:Make sales calls to a portfolio of existing and new customers, working closely with the external sales team.
• Sales Administration:Raise quotations, follow up on quotations, and process customer orders.
• Warehouse Duties:Assist with goods in/out, loading/unloading delivery vans, and picking/packing orders, which may involve some heavy lifting.
• Product Knowledge:Continuously enhance your knowledge by learning about new products entering the market.
