Job summary

Rexel UK Fort William Branch is seeking an Internal Sales person to join the team. You will deliver outstanding customer service at the Trade Counter, handle stock movements, and support both the internal and external sales teams.

You will raise quotations, process orders, and maintain product knowledge while assisting with warehouse duties and promotions. This role focuses on customer-first service and efficient store operations across the branch.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service on the Trade Counter and over the phone.
• Handle stock in/out, order processing, picking/packing, transfers and stock control.
• Serve customers efficiently at the Trade Counter and collaborate with the external sales team.
• Make sales calls to existing and new customers and support sales administration.
• Raise quotations, follow up quotations, and process customer orders.
• Assist with goods in/out and deliveries, possibly heavy lifting.
• Continuously learn about new products entering the market.

Job Description

You will be the face of our wholesale branch, providing excellent customer service on the Trade Counter to trade professionals and members of the public. You will also take ownership of shop displays to highlight promotions and store offers.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Customer Service:Provide excellent service to customers over the phone and face-to-face.
• Stock Management:Handle stock in and out, including order processing, picking and packing, store transfers, and stock control.
• Trade Counter:Serve customers efficiently and professionally.
• Internal Sales:Make sales calls to a portfolio of existing and new customers, working closely with the external sales team.
• Sales Administration:Raise quotations, follow up on quotations, and process customer orders.
• Warehouse Duties:Assist with goods in/out, loading/unloading delivery vans, and picking/packing orders, which may involve some heavy lifting.
• Product Knowledge:Continuously enhance your knowledge by learning about new products entering the market.
