Job Title: Trade Counter AssistantSalary: Up to £32,000 per annumHours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 5:00pmLocation: West Worcestershire

Simon Acres Group are working in partnership with a well-established trade supplier to recruit a Trade Counter Assistant. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy and growing team in a customer-facing role offering long-term progression and full training for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

Engage with customers in person, over the phone, and online.

Offer guidance on products, materials, and equipment suited to their needs.

Process sales transactions and issue accurate invoices.

Stock & Logistics Support

Manage stock levels, ensuring availability of essential materials.

Order and replenish supplies, maintaining up-to-date records.

Assist with deliveries, including loading/unloading and moving goods to storage.

Pick and prepare orders, coordinating timely deliveries to customers.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

A hands-on approach and willingness to undertake physical tasks.

Previous experience in a trade environment (plumbing, heating, or similar) is advantageous, but not essential as training will be provided.

A proactive attitude and ability to work well in a fast-paced setting.
