Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in International Trade, Business, Supply Chain, Law, Logistics, Customs Administration, or a related discipline.
• 3-5 years' experience in trade compliance, customs compliance, import/export controls, or a related regulatory environment.
• UK Customs Practitioner Certificate, CCS, or IOE&IT certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review import and export declarations for compliance with UK, EU, and international trade regulations.
• Assist with tariff classification, customs valuation, country of origin determinations, and free trade agreement eligibility assessments.
• Support export control classifications, restricted party screening, sanctions compliance, and licensing requirements.
• Conduct compliance reviews and identify corrective actions and risk mitigations.
• Support customs audits, government inquiries, investigations, and regulatory assessments.
• Monitor customs broker activities and ensure regulatory compliance.
