Job summary

Thiess in the United Kingdom is seeking a Trade Assistant to support preventative maintenance and repairs on off-highway machinery. You will work both independently and as part of a team, handling materials and operating basic tools in a workshop or site environment.

You must have experience as a Trade Assistant in mining or workshop settings, hold Forklift, Crane, Dogging and Rigging tickets, an Australian Drivers licence, and a strong commitment to health and safety.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preventative maintenance and repairs on off highway machinery.
• Handle materials, loading/unloading, and moving supplies to and from work areas.
• Operate basic power tools and machinery.
• Clean and prepare work areas, adhering to site guidelines.
• Identify equipment faults during servicing and report to workshop/ management.
• Work independently and collaboratively within a team to accomplish tasks.
