Job summary

Journey Further in the United Kingdom seeks a Tracking Specialist to own the technical tracking layer across web and app, build structured data layers, and ensure clean signals for Google Tag Manager and GA4. You will work hands-on with client accounts, diagnose tracking issues under deadline pressure, and explain decisions to non-technical colleagues.

You will implement server-side tagging, consent-mode tracking, GDPR compliance, and coordinate with activation teams to scope requirements for

Qualifications

• Client-facing role requiring clear communication under deadlines.
• Ability to diagnose and fix tracking issues quickly.
• Strong understanding of data layers and event structuring.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement tagging strategies across web and app.
• Configure GTM and GA4 including custom events and conversions.
• Ensure signals reach paid media platforms with client-side and server-side tagging.
• Debug tracking issues, fix missing events and data layer faults.
• Audit and rebuild tracking setups to meet quality standards.
• Build GDPR-compliant tracking using Consent Mode and CMPs.
• Validate data quality across analytics and reports.
