Job summary

Network Rail in Dover Priory is seeking a safety-focused Technician - Track Maintenance to support the Team Leader and deliver high-quality track work. You will inspect track assets, diagnose faults, perform maintenance and renewal tasks, and may lead the team when required.

The role is safety-critical and involves days, nights and weekend shifts. A valid driving licence and relevant competencies are expected, with hybrid/flexible working options where available.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in planning and implementing safe systems of work.
• Knowledge of track maintenance techniques, including inspection, faulting, and renewal.
• Willingness to achieve required competencies and a driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Deliver work safely and efficiently in line with approved systems, standards, and procedures.
• Carry out inspections, maintenance, and fault-finding on track infrastructure to keep the network running smoothly.
• Report completed work and maintain essential records.
