Town Planner

I am working with a Planning Consultancy based in Central Manchester who are looking for a Planner to join their growing team. This consultancy works on a wide range of projects across many property sectors, including heritage and conservation, mixed-use and commercial, residential, leisure, and education. Working alongside a team of experienced Planners, you will have the opportunity to grow and develop your career in Planning.

Responsibilities:

• Undertaking policy research
• Carrying out planning appraisals for clients prior to site acquisition
• Drafting planning statements and pre-application letters
• Submitting applications via the planning portal
• Monitoring planning applications
• Attending meetings and taking minutes

Candidate Requirements:

• An RTPI-accredited Town Planning degree
• 1-2 years of experience in Town Planning
• Excellent knowledge of the planning system
