Job summary

TipTopJob is seeking a Town Planner to join a well-established planning consultancy based in Stratford, London. You will support clients through the planning process, gaining exposure to planning applications, appraisals, appeals and enforcement matters across diverse sectors.

This role offers development within a professional consultancy, with opportunities for professional qualification support and working on a varied portfolio of residential, commercial and mixed-use projects.

Qualifications

• Degree in Town Planning or related discipline required.
• Experience with planning applications and associated documentation essential.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
• Excellent organisational and project management abilities required.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and competing deadlines.
• Commercial awareness and a client-focused approach.
• Pragmatic and solution-focused approach to planning matters.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and submitting planning applications and supporting documentation.
• Undertaking planning research and development appraisals.
• Providing planning and development advice to clients.
• Assisting with planning appeals and enforcement matters.
• Supporting site promotion and development proposals.
• Liaising with local planning authorities, consultants and other stakeholders.
• Preparing planning statements, reports and professional correspondence.
