Job summary

PropSource Consulting, a growing independent planning consultancy in Central London, is seeking a Town Planner to join their expanding team. The role offers exposure to a diverse portfolio of projects across London and the South of England, including strategic residential developments and mixed-use schemes.

You will manage applications from inception to determination, prepare appraisals and planning strategies, and work directly with developers and landowners.

Qualifications

• MRTPI status or RTPI-APC in progress.
• Experience in Development Management, Planning Policy and/or consultancy.
• Experience assessing planning applications and preparing reports.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ambition to grow within a collaborative, expanding team.

Responsibilities

• Manage planning applications from inception through to determination.
• Prepare planning appraisals, reports and planning strategies.
• Work directly with developers, landowners and a broad range of private sector clients.
• Develop project management skills with support from Associates and Directors.
• Gain exposure to major development projects and complex planning issues across London and the South East.
