Job summary

Red Events & Distribution Ltd in London is seeking an experienced Event Manager to own concert logistics, venues and teams across the UK. You’ll travel regularly, manage schedules, suppliers and volunteers, and coordinate with artists and head office to ensure flawless performances.

The role blends hands-on operations with strategic oversight, demanding calm under pressure, excellent organisation and strong stakeholder relations, with a clear path to growth within an international events team.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years' experience in event production, venue operations, touring or comparable role
• Full driving licence
• Willingness to travel across the country regularly
• Availability to work evenings and weekends
• Confident dealing with venue managers, suppliers and performers
• Strong organisational skills with multiple events running in parallel
• English at C1 or above

Responsibilities

• Venues: travel across the UK for site visits and meet venue management
• Logistics: plan and coordinate arrivals of instruments, equipment, staging and transport
• Scheduling: build and maintain schedules across concurrent events
• Contractors: source and coordinate technical, staging and transport suppliers
• Purchasing and inventory: procure what events need and track equipment
• People: recruit and coordinate administrators and volunteers
• Coordination: work with artist managers, ensemble leads and head office
• Reporting: post-concert reports to feed future planning
