Note: There is a temporary top-up for Bands 2 and 3 to reflect the incorporation of the living wage of £12.60 per hour (£24,638 per annum). This will be in place until the annual pay uplift for 2025/26 is confirmed.

Job Overview

Secondment or Fixed-Term Contract with Torfaen North 2 District Nursing Team - minimum 6 months to cover maternity leave.

The district nursing service is key in delivering the health board’s clinical futures model, providing care closer to home, enabling early discharge, and preventing hospital admissions.

We deliver holistic care to patients in their homes and residential homes 24/7, addressing the increasing health complexities of our population across Torfaen.

Main duties of the job

To care for patients and their families within their own homes is a privilege. The Torfaen district nursing teams offer an exciting opportunity for a community staff nurse to join their supportive, dedicated, and forward-thinking team. You will have opportunities to develop your clinical and interpersonal skills through ongoing professional development and a robust induction program.
