Job description

We are looking for a friendly and dedicated Care Assistant seeking a rewarding job within one of our care homes. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a high level of care to our residents, promoting their independence while safeguarding their dignity. As part of the team, you will participate in the day-to-day activities of the home.

This is a permanent 0 Hour contract working on a relief basis.

Plas y Garn Care Home provides accommodation for over 65s in Pontypool, Torfaen. We focus on giving a great quality of life to our residents, regardless of their abilities and needs. Our team of specially trained staff provide tailored care, including EMI care and dementia support.
