Job summary

Wagstaff Recruitment in Tamworth is seeking a Toolroom Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis. The role covers TPMs of tooling, repair and refurbishment of injection mould tooling, and support for new tooling projects. Strong problem solving and teamwork are essential.

Working a 2-week rotating shift (6am–2pm / 2pm–10pm), you will earn £47,000–£48,000 per year, with enhanced pension, 23 days holiday, health care cash plan and life assurance as part of the benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Toolroom Technician or Tooling Engineer.
• Experience with tooling up to 10 tonnes.
• Ability to problem solve and work within a team to apply corrective actions.
• Health & Safety conscious and compliant with processes.

Due to this growth, they are recruiting for an Toolroom Engineer to join their team in Tamworth. They need Toolroom Engineer who are process driven to help them through the next phase of change in their business.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Carrying out TPMs of tooling
• Repair, maintain, refurbish injection mould tooling
• Responding to breakdowns to reduce downtime
• Supporting new tooling projects
• Identifying continuous improvement opportunities

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

• Experience as a Toolroom Technician, Tooling Engineer or in a similar position
• Experience with tooling up to 10 tonnes
• Ability to problem solve, communication issues and work within a team to implement corrective actions
• Health & Safety conscious, ensuring company and regulatory processes are followed
