Job summary

Hunter Selection is seeking a Toolroom Engineer in Tamworth to join a growing manufacturing team. The role requires hands-on experience with injection mould tooling, TPMs, and repair/refurbishment of tooling up to 10 tonnes.

The position offers a rotating 2-week shift pattern and a competitive salary. Candidates should be proactive, with strong problem-solving and teamwork skills, and a commitment to health and safety within a regulated environment.

Globally, our client is now the market leader in their sector following acquisition of their major competitor. Due to this growth, they are recruiting for an Toolroom Engineer to join their team in Tamworth. They need Toolroom Engineer who are process driven to help them through the next phase of change in their business.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Carrying out TPMs of tooling
• Repair, maintain, refurbish injection mould tooling
• Responding to breakdowns to reduce downtime
• Supporting new tooling projects
• Identifying continuous improvement opportunities

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

• Experience as a Toolroom Technician, Tooling Engineer or in a similar position
• Experience with tooling up to 10 tonnes
• Ability to problem solve, communication issues and work within a team to implement corrective actions
• Health & Safety conscious, ensuring company and regulatory processes are followed
