Job summary

Jaxdene Solutions Limited is seeking a skilled Toolmaker to manufacture, repair and modify production tooling, ensuring minimal downtime and efficient operation. Working closely with production and design teams, you will prepare CNC tooling, finish components, support prototype tooling and assist with tooling development while maintaining quality standards.

Time-served or CNC milling qualifications are preferred; not required to be a fully qualified CNC machinist, but experience in a machine

Qualifications

• Proven experience in toolmaking or CNC machining.
• Experience reading engineering drawings.
• Time-served or CNC milling qualification preferred.
• Able to set or operate a machine in a machine shop.
• Basic manual assembly and engineering documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture, repair and modify production tooling and accessories.
• Prepare and finish CNC tooling, including polishing and drilling.
• Produce tooling samples for testing and approval.
• Carry out maintenance and refurbishment of tooling.
• Provide urgent tooling repairs to minimise downtime.
• Ensure tooling work meets quality and performance standards.
• Assist prototypes tooling and support product development through tooling modifications.
