Job summary

Pertemps Bond is recruiting a Toolmaker for its Redditch operation. The role is a dayshift position (Monday to Thursday, 39 hours per week) with a salary in the region of £35,000 to £37,500 per annum. You will manufacture and maintain press tooling (10T to 160T) and ensure tools are maintained to drawings and specifications.

You will safely operate toolroom machinery including mills, lathes and grinders, interpret technical drawings, and contribute to continuous improvement within the site.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in toolmaking for presses
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Demonstrated precision and ability to work to tight tolerances

Responsibilities

• Manufacture and maintain press tooling for production of pressed components (10T to 160T)
• Maintain tooling to drawings and specifications
• Operate toolroom machinery safely to manufacture tools for press production
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the company
