Job summary

Pertemps Bond is recruiting a Toolmaker for a leading manufacturer in the Stourport on Severn area. The role operates on days, Monday to Friday, 39 hours per week, with a salary of £40,000 to £42,000 per annum.

You will manufacture and maintain tooling, dies and moulds and set up machine tools including CNC equipment. The candidate should be able to interpret drawings, work to tight tolerances and participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the company.

Qualifications

• Maintain and build tooling.
• Safely use millers, lathes, grinders and toolroom machinery.
• CNC machinery setup knowledge.
• Interpret technical drawings.
• Work within tight tolerances.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture and maintain tooling, dies and moulds to support production.
• Set up and operate machine tools including lathes, milling machines, grinders and CNC equipment.
• Maintain tools to drawings and specifications for continued production.
• Work safely using toolroom machinery to produce correct components.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the company.
