Job summary

Amcor is seeking a Toolmaker / CNC Machinist in Beccles to manufacture new tooling and maintain existing tooling while supporting production units. You will report to the Toolroom Manager; hours are on-site, Monday to Thursday 07:00–16:00 and Friday 07:00–13:00.

You should have NVQ Level 3 or equivalent and proven technical/engineering experience with milling and turning; CNC experience with Hurco and Fanuc is preferred. Join a global leader in responsible packaging.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) qualification.
• Proven experience in a technical environment.
• Proven engineering skills.
• Experience with milling and turning.
• CNC machining experience with Hurco/Fanuc preferred.

• Strong teamwork and communication abilities.
• Willingness to challenge existing practices and pursue continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture new tooling using all types of machine, tools and equipment.
• Maintain existing tooling and provide engineering support to production areas.
