Qualifications

• Experienced Toolmaker with a background in Plastics, Extrusion, Press, or Jigs and Fixture.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture, repair, and maintain plastic tooling.
• Perform CNC, Wire and Spark Erosion, and Manual Machining.
• Carry out stripdowns and rebuilds.

Overview

We are currently working with a long-standing client who are looking to add a Toolmaker to their Toolroom onsite to help in the Manufacture, Repair and Maintenance of Plastic Tooling.

Responsibilities

• CNC Machining
• Wire Erosion
• Spark Erosion
• Manual Machining
• Bench
• Stripdowns
• Rebuilds
• ETC (You do NOT need skills with all of the above)

Training on specific machines/equipment can be given but you must be an Experienced Toolmaker with one of the following backgrounds: Plastics / Extrusion / Press / Jigs and Fixture.

Details

Mon-Fri 8am-5pm, with overtime opportunities if wanted paid at 1.3x in week before or after shifts.

Rates of pay depend upon skill-set but there are easy earning opportunities up to and over £45,000 yearly.
