Job summary

Advanced Resource Managers Ltd in Bolton is seeking a Tooling Design Engineer on a 6-month contract. You will deliver practical tool design solutions for a defence/aerospace client with SC clearance.

The role requires HNC/HND, extensive 3D modelling, CREO experience, and the ability to translate design intent into detailed 2D/3D definitions, with strong GD&T knowledge.

Qualifications

• HNC/HND qualified with significant experience in Tool Design and Definition.
• A significant amount of 3D modelling experience and ability to assess 3D models for quality.
• Experience in 3D annotations would be a distinct advantage (CREO).
• Ability to translate design intent from 3D models into high quality 2D/3D definitions (CREO).
• Strong background in the production of engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of BS8888 Technical product documentation and specification, ISO 1101 Geometrical product specifications, ISO 5459 Datum and datum systems, and similar standards and GD&T.

Do you hold an HNC or higher within an engineering discipline?

Do you have experience using CREO?

As the Tooling Design Engineer, you will be working alongside a market-leading Defence and Aerospace company who are constantly growing and developing. Due to the nature of the work you will be involved in, SC clearance is required.

You will be involved in:
