Overview

Are you a Tool Specialist looking for a new opportunity? Would you like to be part of the Integrated Well Services team? Join our Integrated Well Services & Solutions Team. Our Oilfield Services business provides intelligent, connected technologies to monitor and control our energy extraction assets. Our team provides technical expertise to meet our client expectation in Well Intervention requirement. We provide customers with the peace of mind needed to improve their operations reliably and efficiently.

Partner with the best

The Tool Specialist will be responsible for the delivery of manual tool-handling tasks related to cross-product line Baker Hughes services. You will work in challenging and hectic environments and be capable of solving practical challenges. You will be a strong team member and a positive and pro-active cross-product line Baker Hughes representative at the rig site.

Responsibilities
  • Rigging up/down of equipment, maintenance of equipment on the rig site, BHA handling, testing and calibration.
  • Responsible for tracking and managing Baker Hughes inventory at rig site.
  • Work in close collaboration with onshore project coordinator and order equipment as required.
  • Put a focus on safe tool handling.
  • Train Baker Hughes rig-site personnel and rig-site contractor personnel.
Qualifications
  • Have experience in Rig Operations
  • Have experience in an oilfield services & equipment and/or rig contractor company.
  • Have a Mechanical or electrical apprenticeship - ideally
  • Have experience in an oilfield services & equipment maintenance and/or manufacturing technician role
  • Have obtained an industry-relevant technical qualification
  • Able to work in onshore, offshore and/or remote locations
  • Manage written and oral English as a working language - ideally
