Job summary

Airbus Operations Limited invites applications for a Craft Tool Room Apprentice based in Broughton. The 36-month program includes hands-on work in the Tool Room, maintenance of jigs and tooling, and live project experience on wing components for A320, A330 and A350 families.

You will study NVQ Level 3 Diploma with day-release college, progress to a Multi-skilled Tool Maker role, and join a core tooling operations team after completion.

Qualifications

• GCSEs with Maths (C/4 or above) and English (C/4 or above) required.
• Science (Double Award or Physics) preferred.
• Two additional GCSEs at grade C/4 or higher, preferably in technical subjects.

Responsibilities

• Maintain wing jigs and tooling in the Tool Room.
• Support production of wing skins, panels and stringers for Airbus aircraft.
• Attend college (day release) to gain NVQ Level 3 Extended Diploma in Mechanical Manufacturing Engineering.
