Job summary

Solutions Limited in Birmingham is seeking an experienced Toolmaker or CNC Machinist to join an established manufacturing company offering competitive benefits and varied engineering work. The role focuses on manufacturing, repairing and modifying precision tooling and components, with CNC milling/turning and tight tolerances.

You will work from engineering drawings using mills, lathes and surface grinders, supporting production breakdowns and tooling improvements in a busy tooling environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Toolmaker, CNC Machinist or Precision Engineer.
• Experience with CNC setup, programming and operation.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and work to precise tolerances.
• CAD/CAM, Fanuc controls or press tooling experience advantageous.

£35,000-£38,000 + Benefits

Are you an experienced Toolmaker or CNC Machinist looking to join an established manufacturing company offering competitive benefits and varied engineering work?

The company is looking to expand its Engineering and Tool Room team, seeking a skilled individual to manufacture, repair and modify precision tooling, jigs, fixtures and components. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills within a specialist manufacturing environment.

The Role

• Manufacturing, repairing and modifying precision tooling and components.

• Setting up, programming and operating CNC milling and turning machines.

• Working from engineering drawings and to tight tolerances.

• Using conventional tool room machinery, including mills, lathes and surface grinders.

• Supporting production breakdowns and tooling improvements.

The Candidate

• Proven experience as a Toolmaker, CNC Machinist or Precision Engineer.

• Experience with CNC setup, programming and operation.
