Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Utiliser des machines manuelles et CNC pour la fabrication d'outils.
• Modifier et réparer les outils de moulage par injection.
• Travailler à des délais stricts tout en maintenant des normes de qualité.

Job description

Title: Tool Maker
Location: Stevenage, Hertfordshire
Hours: 41.5 Hours Per Week
Pay: £35,000 - £40,000
Type: Permanent Position

Overtime Available in addition to basic salary.

Jark Stevenage is currently recruiting a Tool Maker for an Engineering company based in Stevenage.

The ideal candidate will have experience in tool making, manual milling, turning, griding, EDM Wire and spark erosion and fitting. CNC Milling experience an advantage.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

· Use of manual milling machines
· Use of lathes
· Use of surface and cylindrical grinders
· Use of manual and CNC spark eroders
· Use of CNC wire eroder
· Modification & repair of Injection Mould Tools
· Manufacture and fitting of new injection mould tools
· Using hand tools such as files, hacksaws and grinders
· Experience in general toolmaking, milling, grinding and fitting
· Wiring of Hot runner systems and fault finding

To be considered for the role you must have:

· Experience in injection mould Toolmaking, and high precision machining
· Understand and have experience of fitting and assembly of complex mould tools including their repair
· Have the ability to work to tight time scales without compromising quality and safety
· Be able to communicate well and be part of a team
