A leading engineering company in Stevenage is seeking a Tool Maker for a permanent position. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in tool making, manual milling, and CNC machining. This role involves the use of various tools and machinery to modify and repair injection mould tools, as well as collaborating within a team to meet production demands while maintaining high quality standards.

Responsibilities

Title: Tool MakerLocation: Stevenage, HertfordshireHours: 41.5 Hours Per WeekPay: 35,000 - 40,000Type: Permanent PositionOvertime Available in addition to basic salary.Jark Stevenage is currently recruiting a Tool Maker for an Engineering company based in Stevenage.The ideal candidate will have experience in tool making, manual milling, turning, griding, EDM Wire and spark erosion and fitting. CNC Milling experience an advantage.Main Duties and Responsibilities:Use of manual milling machinesUse of lathesUse of surface and cylindrical grindersUse of manual and CNC spark erodersUse of CNC wire eroderModification & repair of Injection Mould ToolsManufacture and fitting of new injection mould toolsUsing hand tools such as files, hacksaws and grindersExperience in general toolmaking, milling, grinding and fittingWiring of Hot runner systems and fault findingTo be considered for the role you must have:Experience in injection mould Toolmaking, and high precision machiningUnderstand and have experience of fitting and assembly of complex mould tools including their repairHave the ability to work to tight time scales without compromising quality and safetyBe able to communicate well and be part of a teamTo apply for this position, please send over an updated CV to (url removed) or call (phone number removed) for more information.
