Jewson, part of Stark UK, is hiring a Tool Hire Assistant in Exeter. You will help customers by delivering and collecting tool hire orders, ensuring equipment is safe, well-maintained and loaded correctly. A full UK driving licence is essential for driving a 3.5 tonne van.

This full-time role runs Monday to Friday with weekend coverage as required. You will interact with customers to build relationships, support colleagues, and help grow branch sales through proactive service and cross-selling.

Qualificações

• Must hold a valid full UK driving licence.
• Demonstrated customer service experience or aptitude.
• Able to work well in a team and contribute to branch goals.
• Commitment to safety and high standards of workmanship.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver and collect customer orders in a timely and safe manner.
• Drive a 3.5 tonne van to customer sites and branches.
• Ensure equipment is loaded/unloaded correctly and secured.
• Carry out pre-delivery checks and basic repairs on tools where needed.
• Support colleagues with product knowledge and customer interaction.
• Complete delivery paperwork and maintain accurate records.
• Assist in maintaining a well-organised and safe branch environment.
